One of the neat things about having a strong bond within the community that you work is the trust that is built. Because of our reputation we get the opportunity to partner with alot of historical building organizations and community organizations. One of our recent projects is the Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Tacoma. This church has an amazing historical place in the city which makes this a very special community project for our team here at Mear's Roofing. Here is a snippet of the church's history:

Immanuel Presbyterian Church was established in 1888, making it one of Tacoma's oldest religious organizations that is still in operation. - Location
The church is located in the North Slope neighborhood, which was developed in part by streetcar systems between 1880 and 1940. The neighborhood was home to a diverse population, including workers and the middle class, as well as some of Tacoma's Black leaders. - Window
The church's altar features a large window that was installed in 1950 and depicts the Sermon on the Mount. It also includes symbols of the four evangelists and was created by D'Ascenzo Studios of Philadelphia.
